Tokyo, October 15

Bill had another appointment the next day so Caroline and I went shopping.  Here are a few shots.  She has definitely changed her style since she has arrived in Japan.
We went shopping in trendy Shibuya.  This place was seven floors of very trendy fashions.  The girls were so nice to Caroline.

That night we had reservations at the French restaurant in the hotel.  Whenever we go somewhere fun or different, I am famous for telling the hosts that it is one of my kids/Bill's birthday.  It makes the event kind of fun and the kids never know it is coming.  Anyway, I figure it was a good time to celebrate Caroline's birthday.  it is not until December, but we were at a French restaurant in Tokyo.   It was a great time to celebrate her birthday.

Caroline wanted to take some romantic shots.  I think she just wanted to play with the new camera.

We ran into our old neighbors from NC at the hotel.  They got transferred to Japan last summer also.  A neat surprise.

Caroline eating her birthday surprise.  It was a cute cookie with "happy Birthday" written across. Before we went out for the evening, Caroline wanted to take shots of the fountain outside the hotel...

We went to the famous Ginza shopping district.  This is like 5th avenue in Manhattan.  Very high-end shopping.  We didn't buy anything... We went for the lights.

End of day 2, another 12 hours of touring and fun!
